About Us

Golf Not Guns is a non-profit 501c3 community based mentor program that provides golf education to at-risk youth. Participants are exposed to the game of golf and matched with mentors that will promote healthy living and improve problem solving skills. Youth are taught the fundamentals and etiquette of golf while learning life-lessons from members of the golf community.

Our Goals

  • To expose youth to the game of golf and the various career paths that the golf industry provides.
  • Connect with various community programs and mentors that will reinforce and provide wraparound services to help the participants achieve positive outcomes.
  • Use the game of golf as an alternative to help reduce violence in the communities.
